WaveGrip is a provider of multi-packing solutions for cans and drinks. As part or our integrated communications support, they asked us to help them use social media to engage with their customers and specifically target craft brewers in the US and UK.
Nielsen McAllister devised a campaign to issue broadcast social media and targeted activity via Twitter, alongside the broadcast tweets and activity on other social media platforms including LinkedIn and Instagram.
The objectives were to engage with the target audience and:
We have taken a light hearted, conversational and on most occasions non-promotional tone that complements WaveGrip’s brand.
We comment on the beers, can designs, products we like and occasionally link back to WaveGrip products.

The increase in WaveGrip’s brand awareness is clearly seen by the brewers who have engaged with or seen their Twitter content. We have also generated direct leads, with the lead development also evidenced through the number of brewers visiting WaveGrip’s website.
Social media is now an integrated part of WaveGrip’s wider marketing communications.
