With its global marketing team based in Canada, Nielsen McAllister has worked with Nulogy since 2020, initially providing PR and media support but soon moving to encompass a full-service PR and communications offer for its European business.

How Nielsen McAllister helped

The Background

Nulogy is a global software company specialising in cloud-based solutions for contract packing and third-party logistics (3PL) companies. Seeking to enhance its presence in the European market, Nulogy enlisted the support of Nielsen McAllister as its first PR agency in the region.

Initially focused on media relations and content creation, the collaboration quickly evolved into a comprehensive full-service PR partnership. Nielsen McAllister worked in tandem with  Nulogy’s marketing team, providing support at exhibitions, conducting case study videos with customers, booking advertising and assisting with various sponsorship and promotional activities.

To ensure a consistent brand message, Nielsen McAllister created a strategic content calendar for PR and communications. Leveraging their extensive media network, the agency established relationships with key European trade publications and industry influencers, to create awareness of the brand and build understanding of its service offer.

Media relations: Strategically placed Nulogy’s press releases into relevant media outlets to amplify the company’s visibility and credibility, placing advertising and working with bookings made by the Canadian team to maximise PR coverage.

Trade relations: Collaborated with trade associations and sponsorship bookings to raise Nulogy’s profile with key target clients.

Thought leadership: Positioned Nulogy as an industry expert through extended articles and participation in webinars and conferences.

Exhibition support: Assistance at exhibitors, including graphic and stand design, event logistics, support during speaking sessions, and even participating as part of the Nulogy team on the booths.

Collaboration with customers: Supported Nulogy’s customer engagement strategy through case studies, press announcements, and video interview content in both the UK and Europe.

The Result

Through utilising a full-service PR support package from Nielsen McAllister, Nulogy has yielded significant results:

Over a two year period:

  • 21 press releases written and distributed, achieving 300+ individual pieces of print and online coverage
  • 32 feature articles secured across key trade titles
  • In-person support provided at six UK exhibitions, which included set-up and take down of the booth, as well as being part of the customer facing team
  • Two customer case study videos created with leading logistics companies on behalf of Nulogy, providing support with interviews, shot lists and video editing
  • Trade Associations engaged with to raise awareness of Nulogy amongst key potential customers
  • Packaging News webinar sponsorship undertaken, working with Nulogy customers and the BCMPA to raise the profile of digitalisation in contract packing

In return, Nulogy has built greater awareness of its brand and service offering, with an uptake in enquiries across the European contract packing and 3PL sector.
